Sanitation Supervisor - Night Shift

JBS Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Sanitation Night Cleaning Supervisor to lead our sanitation team at Dinmore.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of night shift sanitation operations within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You’ll lead a team responsible for delivering exceptional hygiene standards while ensuring compliance, safety, and operational readiness for production each day.

About the role

Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating sanitation activities across the site to ensure all cleaning outcomes meet company, food safety and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching and supporting the sanitation night cleaning team
• Coordinating daily cleaning schedules and labour requirements
• Ensuring all sanitation activities are completed safely, effectively and on time
• Driving compliance with food safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Monitoring cleaning performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Conducting team briefings, training and performance conversations
• Managing cleaning documentation and reporting requirements
• Working closely with maintenance and production teams to support operational readiness
• Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring procedures are followed

About you

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in sanitation, industrial cleaning, food processing or manufacturing
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and motivate others
• Organised with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Comfortable working night shift and managing competing priorities
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
