Located in Ipswich in South East Queensland, the JBS Dinmore Plant is the largest beef processing facility in the southern hemisphere. The plant employs approximately 2,000 team members with a processing capacity of 3,400 head of cattle per day.

 

About the Role

JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting an experienced and suitably qualified Occupational Health Nurse or Registered Nurse with current or ability to obtain immunisation qualifications to join our dynamic workplace health team. In this role, you will support employee health and wellbeing through workplace-based vaccination programs and general occupational health services including pre-employment screening and injury management first response.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Administering workplace immunisations including influenza, Q Fever, and other vaccines in accordance with national guidelines
  • Conducting pre-employment medicals, health surveillance, and injury management support
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reporting
  • Educating employees on health and safety practices and vaccination benefits
  • Collaborating with health and safety teams to deliver proactive health initiatives

 

About You

  • Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration required)
  • Current Immunisation Certificate (recognised in Queensland) or ability to obtain
  • Previous experience in occupational health, public health, or community nursing including conducting pre-employment health screening
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and record-keeping skills
  • Confidence working autonomously or within multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with onsite vaccination programs or similar workplace environments advantageous
  • Certification in audiometry, spirometry, or drug and alcohol testing advantageous
