The JBS Dinmore Processing Plant is the largest beef facility in the southern hemisphere. About the Role

Due to the recent announcement of an additional shift, JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting an experienced Trainer to join the Maintenance Team in a full-time capacity. In this newly created role, your key focus will be to support the highly skilled Maintenance Team with all training related delivery, administration and compliance, as well providing one-on-one tuition for new team members and apprentices.  

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering appropriate and relevant training in accordance with company guidelines
  • Administration associated with regulations, policies and procedures, e.g. training policy, lock out and tag Out etc.
  • Maintaining a current awareness of all policies and procedures
  • Providing individual guidance and regular checks on new Maintenance Team employees and apprentices
  • Facilitating external training courses, e.g. confined space, working at heights and machine training
  • Source training provider to provide relevant training
  • Maintaining electrical and forklift licenses
  • Ensuring all training is current and up to date for safety legislation
  • Updating documentation for compliance and company records
  • Build and manage skills matrix

 

About You

  • Previous experience in a similar Training position
  • Previous experience within a similar manufacturing or food production environment advantageous
  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training advantageous
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills, specifically within MS Word and Excel
  • Highly developed time management skills including prioritising and multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised
