Maintenance Supervisor - Weekend Shift

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the team at JBS Australia Dinmore. This role leads a dedicated maintenance team across our Friday to Monday roster, providing strong leadership and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment during critical production periods.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, driving results and working a structured shift pattern that offers great work-life balance while still being a key part of operational success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Provide strong leadership and direction to the maintenance team across the shift
• Coordinate and prioritise preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Ensure plant reliability and minimal downtime to support production targets
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Work closely with production supervisors and operational teams
• Mentor and develop maintenance employees to build a high-performing team culture
• Ensure compliance with company safety, food safety, and maintenance standards
• Assist with planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives

You will ideally have

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance or industrial environments
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Mechanical, electrical or trade background (highly regarded)
• Ability to troubleshoot and make decisions under pressure
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and team development
• Experience in manufacturing, processing or heavy industry (desirable)
