Located in Ipswich in South East Queensland, the JBS Dinmore Plant is the largest beef processing facility in the southern hemisphere. The plant employs approximately 2,000 team members with a processing capacity of 3,000 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week.

 

Cattle are sourced from the finest cattle producing regions to produce a diverse range of pasture fed and grain beef products, from commodity to premium. The renowned AMH brand, the award-winning Yardstick, the highly marbled grain fed Pure Prime and our state’s brand, Queenslander Beef and more are all produced at Dinmore.

 

About the Role

JBS Dinmore is seeking an experienced Maintenance Storesperson to join the team in a full-time capacity (Monday to Friday). Working as a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment. Your expertise will ensure the efficient operation of our maintenance function, minimizing downtime and supporting the overall success of our organization.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts
  • Reordering stock as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Receiving, inspecting and recording incoming goods
  • Issuing parts and materials to the Maintenance Technicians
  • Organizing and maintaining the maintenance store
  • Supporting maintenance operations and planning
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies

 

About You

  • Previous experience in a stores or inventory management role
  • Forklift license required
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes and equipment advantageous
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical parts and equipment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
