Maintenance Fitter
JBS Australia is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team at Dinmore. You’ll play a key role in keeping our plant running safely and reliably, delivering some of Australia’s best beef brands to customers around the world.
This is a fast-paced operational role. You’ll execute planned maintenance, drive reliability improvements, and use your fault-finding skills to prevent issues before they impact production.
About the Role
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment across a beef processing facility
- Execute planned maintenance using SAP
- Apply strong fault-finding skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly
- Support reliability programs that reduce unplanned downtime
- Uphold high standards of food safety, hygiene, and plant efficiency
Shift Options & Rates
All roles start at Level 3 with progression to Level 1 based on demonstrated competency.
- Day Shift (6:00am – 3:20pm)
Level 3 - $45.10 | Level 2 - $46.22 | Level 1 - $49.37
- Afternoon Shift (2:00pm – 11:20pm)
Level 3 - $48.48 | Level 2 - $49.69 | Level 1 - $53.07
- Night Shift (10:00pm – 7:20am)
Level 3 - $51.87 | Level 2 - $53.16 | Level 1 - $56.78
- Weekend Crew | Fri/Mon Rates (4.00am – 4:00pm)
Level 3 - $45.10 | Level 2 - $46.22 | Level 1 - $49.37
- Weekend Crew | Sat/Sun Rates (4.00am – 4:00pm)
Level 3 - $54.12 | Level 2 - $55.47 | Level 1 - $59.24
Note:
- Fortnightly 42-hour work week
- Fixed roster with a 9-day fortnight
- Night shift attracts higher penalty rates on Friday and Sunday nights
- Weekend Crew works a 4/3 – 3/4 fortnightly roster (Fri–Mon, 4:00am – 4:00pm)
