The JBS Dinmore Processing Plant is the largest beef facility in the southern hemisphere. Located near Ipswich, in south east Queensland, the facility has a daily production ability of 3,400 cattle and employs approximately 1,500 people. Cattle are sourced from the finest cattle producing regions to produce a diverse range of pasture fed and grain beef products, from commodity to premium. The renowned AMH brand, the award-winning Yardstick, the highly marbled grain fed Pure Prime and our state’s brand, Queenslander Beef and more are all produced at Dinmore.

About the Role
JBS Dinmore is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engine Driver to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is responsible for the running, monitoring and maintenance of the mechanical and utility systems that keep the Plant operating safely and efficiently.
Your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and maintaining plant utilities to ensure optimal performance
- Safe and efficient operation of compressors, and refrigeration systems
- Completing work orders and maintenance records
- Participating in safety initiatives and using appropriate safety tools
- Reporting hazards and coordinating with supervisors for timely resolution.
- Responding to breakdowns and conducting repairs to minimize downtime
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts in utility system reliability
About You
- Working knowledge of refrigeration systems and ancillaries
- Boiler operations certification
- Previous experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration
- Previous experience with ignition process control rooms
- Commitment to safety, sustainability and operational excellence
- Willingness to work rotating rostered shifts
- A mechanical aptitude
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- Basic Computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
