Maintenance Electrician

JBS Australia is currently looking for skilled Mechanical Electricians to join our maintenance team. This role offers excellent rates, consistent hours, and long-term stability in a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Mechanical maintenance and repairs
• Breakdown response and fault diagnosis
• Preventative maintenance programs
• Equipment inspections and improvements
• Supporting production to minimise downtime

Shift Options & Rates

• Day Shift (6:00am – 3:20pm) – $45.10/hr
• Afternoon Shift (2:00pm – 11:20pm) – $48.48/hr
• Night Shift (Team A & B, 10:00pm – 7:20am) – $51.87/hr
• Weekend Crew (Fri–Mon, 4:00am – 4:00pm) – $45.10/hr
• 9.33 hour shifts (12 hours for weekend crew)
• Rostered day off for half the team (alternating fortnightly)

About You

• Trade qualified Electrician
• Experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Reliable and able to work autonomously or in a team
• Strong commitment to safety
