Laundry Worker

About the Role

JBS Dinmore is currently recruiting Laundry Workers to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Clothing Store / Laundry Supervisor, this role plays a crucial role in the successful operation of the plant.

This role is essential to maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards across the site. Duties include laundering and managing workwear, cleaning designated areas, and ensuring all hygiene procedures are followed.

Shift times –

• Monday to Friday | 5am to 1pm (8 hours)
• Monday to Thursday | 5pm to 3am (4 days / 10-hour shifts)
• Monday to Friday | 6pm to 2am (8 hours)

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Washing, drying, folding and distributing work uniforms and PPE
• Maintaining cleanliness of laundry and stores areas
• Correct handling of chemicals and cleaning equipment
• General cleaning duties in accordance with food safety standards
• Day-to-day laundry operations to ensure workflow runs smoothly
• Washing machine and dryer operation
• Amenities cleaning (lunch rooms, change rooms, toilets)
• Stocktake of PPE and consumables
• Front counter service
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and safe practices within the laundry / stores area

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and hygiene standards
• Physically capable of manual tasks
• Previous cleaning or laundry experience preferred but not essential
