About the Role

JBS is seeking an experienced Injury Manager to lead a small team at our JBS Dinmore Plant. As our Injury Manager, you will lead the injury management function and will be responsible for coordinating workplace injury response, rehabilitation and return-to-work programs. As part of this role, you will partner with site safety and leadership to develop strategies to reduce work related injuries, as well as work in collaboration with the National Manager for Injury, Health & Wellbeing to lead the implementation our National WeCare program. Reporting to the site HR lead, this role ensures compliance with legislative requirements, supports injured employees, and drives continuous improvement in injury prevention and management.

 

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Health, Safety, Rehabilitation or related field
  • Advanced Return to Work and Level 3 First Aid qualifications
  • Significant practical occupational rehabilitation / injury management experience
  • Proven experience in injury management and workers’ compensation within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing a small team
  • Ability to inspire, guide and develop team members
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
  • Build trust, have empathy and provide reassurance to injured employees
  • Ability to identify trends and implement improvement initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and teamwork skills
