Electrical Superintendent

Lead reliability at one of Australia's largest food manufacturing facilities!

At JBS Dinmore, the largest and most respected beef processing plants in the southern hemisphere, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our Maintenance Leadership Team.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead the site's electrical maintenance function, ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical assets across a large-scale 24/7 manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role focused on reliability, continuous improvement and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the electrical maintenance team
• Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs
• Improve plant reliability and minimise downtime
• Provide technical support and leadership during breakdowns
• Manage electrical contractors and service providers
• Lead shutdown planning and execution
• Ensure compliance with safety legislation, standards and site requirements
• Partner with Production, Engineering and Project teams to deliver business objectives

About You

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VSDs, instrumentation and automation
• Experience with CMMS and preventative maintenance programs
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams
