About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable ESL Teacher to deliver high-quality English language training to adult learners across face-to-face and online environments.

Reporting to the Manager of Teaching, you will play a critical role in supporting culturally diverse employees to build their communication skills, confidence, and workplace capability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible educator who thrives in a dynamic, student-centred environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, student-centred classroom-based ESL lessons
  • Facilitate interactive online classes using digital platforms
  • Provide relief teaching (planned and short-notice as required)
  • Support students with academic guidance and constructive feedback
  • Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and progress records
  • Contribute to curriculum development and learning resources
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment

 

About You

  • CELTA, TESOL, or equivalent ESL qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree (essential)
  • Experience teaching adult ESL learners (classroom and/or online)
  • Familiarity with ELICOS, CEFR or similar frameworks
  • Strong digital skills and confidence in online teaching platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current Blue Card / Working with Children Check (QLD)
