About the Role

The JBS Pork Division is currently recruiting a Senior Nutritionist to join our team in Corowa, NSW, on a permanent full-time capacity.  Reporting to the General Manager of Farm Operations, you will be responsible for developing nutrition programs to ensure maximum profitability for the Pork Division.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Formulate diets for Rivalea and external businesses.
  • Provide technical support to the company and external businesses.                      
  • Develop feed products for external clients.
  • Coordinate quality control of raw materials and finished feed.
  • Manage monthly and yearly budgeting and reporting on feed costs and raw material usages.
  • Participate in nutrition-related experiments at the Research and Innovation Unit.
  • Coordinate weekly nutrition meetings and monthly reporting.
  • Ensure timely formulation, manufacture, and delivery of research diets.
  • Regularly review and meet annual objectives.
  • Contribute to key business activities as required.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions.                    
  • Perform other duties as directed.          

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have:           

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition concepts and feed formulation.
  • Experience in intensive animal production systems.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Excellent report writing, research, and logistics skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence others.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Current driver's license.
