About the Role

The JBS Pork Division is currently recruiting a Project Coordinator to join the team in a 2-year contract capacity. Based onsite in Corowa and reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the project management team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Project Coordination:  Ensure projects are supported in a timely manner.  Develop and maintain equipment and materials ordering schedules to ensure projects progress without delay. Track and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Document Management: Oversee the management of all project documentation, including incoming and outgoing correspondence, drawings, and contracts. Implement effective document control systems to ensure easy accessibility and retrieval of information.
  • Project Tracking: Coordinate project tracking activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing meeting minutes. Assist project managers in tracking project progress and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute project reports, including progress reports, financial reports, and compliance reports. Analyse project data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Tendering: Support the tendering process by preparing tender documents, coordinating with subcontractors, and assisting in the evaluation of tenders.
  • Financial Management: Assist project managers in preparing Capex requests and tracking project budgets. Prepare financial reports and forecasts.  Analyse and compare quotes.
  • General Administration: Provide general administrative support to the project management team.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

                       

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in project management or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is desirable.
  • Good understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven negotiation Skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
