About the Role

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our team in Corowa, NSW, on a permanent full-time basis.  Reporting to the Stockfeeds Operations Manager, you will be responsible for upholding the financial integrity of the Feedmill Site, the provision of strategic financial advice, whilst ensuring compliance and accuracy within the Group’s financial and reporting processes.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cashflow reports, and month-end reconciliations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business performance, operational decision-making, and strategic planning.
• Maintain strong financial controls and inventory management processes, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial and operational data.
• Provide commercial and strategic financial insights by identifying cost-saving opportunities, analysing business performance, developing financial models, and supporting profitability improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes, reporting, systems, and policy development to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Ensure compliance and governance standards are met, including GST requirements, audit obligations, and Group financial reporting processes, while providing guidance and support to key stakeholders.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• CPA qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to analyse complex financial information and develop practical business solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance processes and drive business performance.
