Mill Hand - Caroona Feedlot

About the Role

JBS Australia's Caroona Feedlot is seeking a dependable and motivated Mill Hand to join our team on a full-time basis. In this hands-on role, you will support the day-to-day feed production process by loading, mixing, and delivering feed in a safe and timely manner while maintaining high standards of bunk hygiene and commodity handling.

You will be responsible for completing data entry and maintaining accurate records, conducting daily pre-start and operational checks on vehicles and equipment, and assisting with the maintenance and servicing of machinery. The role also involves general housekeeping duties, including shovelling, sweeping, and wash-downs, as well as undertaking additional mill and roustabout duties as required.

• Full-time position
• 8 days on / 6 days off rotating roster
• Starting rate is $27.08 per hour

The feedlot has a capacity of 28,000+ head and employs approximately 40 team members. The feedlot includes a dryland and irrigation farming operation which supplies the grain, silage and hay required for the cattle in the feedlot.
