Transport and Administration Supervisor

Primo Foods are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport and Administration Supervisor to join our Supply Chain team based in Wacol.

 

This is a key role responsible for overseeing all administrative functions across receivables, dispatch and logistics operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency across the distribution centre. You will lead a small team while working closely with warehouse and transport teams to support seamless operations and high service standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support administrative staff, including task allocation, performance monitoring and training of new team members
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely data entry, receivals bookings and shipment documentation
  • Ensure all Load In/Out paperwork, despatch invoicing, and consignment notes are processed accurately and within agreed timeframes
  • Manage and process documentation relating to imported and export pig meat in line with Department of Agriculture protocols
  • Maintain strict compliance with company policies, WH&S standards and regulatory requirements
  • Generate and distribute operational and compliance reports, identifying risks and escalating issues where required
  • Support inventory control, workforce scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives across administration processes
  • Ensure accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping across all systems and documentation
  • Maintain strong communication across shifts to ensure continuity of operations and a high level of customer service

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in administration or logistics, ideally within a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Strong understanding of transport, logistics, and distribution operations
  • Proven people leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to engage and develop team members
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and distribution centre systems with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Degree or tertiary qualification preferred; Import & Export Accreditation highly regarded
