Time & Attendance Officer

Primo Foods is seeking a Time & Attendance Officer to join our People & Culture team in Wacol on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This role is responsible for supporting payroll and workforce timekeeping processes, ensuring accurate employee records, attendance data, and payroll-related administration across the business. Working closely with site leaders, HR, Finance, and employees, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance, meeting critical deadlines, and supporting day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll-related time and attendance information in line with relevant Enterprise Agreements and Awards
• Capture, report and validate labour hire hours and supplier invoices
• Maintain accurate payroll records, pay levels and leave entitlements
• Set up new employees in ADP and Kronos systems
• Support payroll processing and ensure payroll deadlines are met
• Respond to employee payroll and timekeeping enquiries
• Calculate and process payroll adjustments and termination payments
• Prepare and upload superannuation payments
• Manage and maintain HR personnel records and files
• Monitor and report payroll system or Kronos issues and support accurate overtime approvals

What You'll Bring

• Experience processing payroll in a similar fast-paced environment
• Strong experience with Kronos, ADP and SAP systems
• Knowledge of employment legislation and payroll compliance requirements
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with different stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving capability and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to coach and influence
• Positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset to enhance the employee experience through enhanced and collaborative ways of working
