About the Role

Reporting to the Program Lead – Roster, Time and Attendance, this role is critical to the successful delivery of a business-wide Time & Attendance project (UKG Workforce Pro).

You will lead the gathering, validation and documentation of business requirements across multiple sites, helping to improve how workforce capacity is managed, tracked and optimised.

Working closely with operational and corporate stakeholders, you will identify opportunities to streamline rostering and timekeeping processes, drive cost efficiencies and ensure compliance with Australian labour laws and company policies.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, validate and document business requirements for rostering and time & attendance processes
  • Analyse workforce data including labour costs, budgets, forecasts and productivity outcomes
  • Map current and future state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with stakeholders across sites and functions to review practices and drive efficiencies
  • Translate business needs into solution options and provide actionable recommendations
  • Identify risks, issues and business impacts of proposed solutions
  • Develop functional specifications and support implementation activities
  • Track cost-saving opportunities and optimise workforce planning outcomes
  • Simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Deliver reporting and insights to stakeholders ranging from frontline leaders to executives

 

About You

  • 5+ years’ Business Analyst experience, ideally within large or multi-site environments
  • Strong experience with rostering and time & attendance systems (UKG highly desirable)
  • Solid understanding of Australian employment legislation and workforce compliance
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Proven experience in process mapping, data analysis and requirements documentation
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced project environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience producing detailed documentation including process flows, data diagrams and testing scripts
  • Solutions-focused mindset with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Energetic, proactive and outcomes-driven approach
