About the Role
Primo Foods is seeking an experienced, dependable Storeperson to join our Engineering Spares team at our Wacol facility. This is a permanent, full-time role offering $28.50/hr, where you’ll manage inventory, handle incoming shipments, and keep our stores organised and efficient.
This role offers a good balance of practical tasks and administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and values stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Control inventory activities day-to-day across Maintenance areas.
- Support Purchasing Coordinator as required with day-to-day purchasing activities
- Constantly review and optimise stock levels
- Complete monthly stocktake/cycle counts
- Check/receipt ordered stock and control despatch to internal employees
- Assist with end of month procedures
- Control store locations physically in SAP
- Keep accurate records in SAP
About you:
- Previous experience in freight forwarding, warehouse operations or logistics.
- Experience with SAP Purchasing and end-to-end processes is preferred but not essential.
- Forklift licence preferable, not mandatory
- Demonstrated computer literacy in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Exceptional ability to prioritise and multi-skill
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
