Shipping Coordinator

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Shipping Officer to be based at our office in Spring Hill on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is responsible for arranging shipping to our customers, by liaising with shipping lines, transport companies, suppliers, and customers.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Liaising with shipping lines, transport companies, suppliers, and customers.
• Booking shipments with shipping lines to suit our supplier & customers’ requirements.
• Raising EDN, issuing shipping instructions, reviewing RFP’s and processing supplier invoices.
• Entry of shipping/vessel data into our database.
• Order processing.
• Being actively involved with all aspects of freight operations within your assigned region.
• General admin duties as required.

About you:

• Previous experience in an export documentation or shipping logistics role highly regarded
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills along with the ability to multi task
• Demonstrated administrative, logistics and data entry skills
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a tight knit team
