Senior Credit Controller

About the Role:

JBS has the opportunity for you to join our D.R. Johnston team as a Credit Controller.  This role is pivotal for the effective operation of a high-volume credit control environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Group Credit Control policy, ensuring compliance with procedures being followed by the team and internal departments.
• Analysis and management of the DRJ credit portfolio
• Periodical review of customer account terms, credit limits and payment securities.
• Instigate legal / collection process / doubtful debts
• Track and resolve root cause issues
• Target overall debtors’ number of days reduction
• Pursue continuous improvement practices
• Conduct external credit report searches through preferred agencies.

Requirements:

• Experience in an Accounts Receivable role with at least 5 years as a credit controller.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
• Proven experience and ability to work collaboratively and positively as a member in a consultative environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Logical, analytical and problem-solving abilities with clear decision-making skills
• Exceptional time management skills
