About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity within a great team as a Safety Officer, working predominantly afternoon shift (12pm – 8pm) based in Wacol, Brisbane.

This position provides direct operational support to supervisors and employees by maintaining visibility throughout the site, identifying hazards and implementing controls. The Safety Officer drives a positive and proactive safety culture.

About You:

As a flexible and adaptable individual, you will conduct and participate in investigations related to injuries, near misses or workplace hazards. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders to address safety concerns and drive continuous improvement in workplace standards. You know how to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and you will support leadership in implementing safety programs that align with organisational goals and industry regulations.

You’ll Bring:

• Safety and operational knowledge of food processing and manufacturing.
• The ability to meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Current first aid and CPR qualifications are preferred.
• A flexible and adaptable attitude.
