About the Role

Primo Foods have a newly created opportunity available for a Reliability Engineer based in Wacol, Brisbane. The purpose of this role is to lead, coach and empower to deliver results through the maintenance team. This will be achieved by improving machine efficiency, reducing waste, delivery of capital plans embedding safe work practices.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the engineering team to provide best practice support and maintenance excellence service across customers (manufacturing, quality, safety and logistics)
• Support site in achieving targets e.g. OEE, waste cost reduction by maximising / optimising machine uptime and utilisation with best practise maintenance costs
• Compliance with regulations / Implementation of safe engineering work practices e.g. Permits, and Contractor Management
• Engineering responsibilities for NPD delivered DIFOTQ
• Ensure standards and quality of work are carried in line with safe engineering work practices and food safety requirements
• Site capital plans (long and short term) DIFOTQ
• Support and assist in the development of HACCP, Safety and Environmental plans
• Ensure effective stores/spares management
• Ensure reliable supply of utilities and other site services
• Compliance with engineering standards, CMMS, systems & protocols
• Implementation and execution of Asset Care strategy across the site
• Support the delivery of the site engagement plan
• Drive and Sustain Reliability KPIs
• Quality & environmental critical controls & statutory maintenance is delivered on time
• Providing support to Real time delivery of production plan
• Supervision and leadership of timely Breakdown rectification
• Corrective and preventive actions are identified for unexpected failures and implemented at pace.
• Execution of Planned Maintenance Activities & Maximise Resource utilisation in relation to reliability improvements
• Support Continuous/ Focused Improvement activities
• Leverage technology Solutions to improve asset care delivery
