About the Role:

Primo Foods has an opportunity for a Quality Partner Operations day Shift to join our team. The Quality Partner ensures that the quality of all products are maintained in accordance with product specifications and legal requirements. This role champions HACCP, GMP and process parameters to ensure safe and quality products are manufactured and is a leader in Food Safety standards.

 

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, HACCP, and process parameters at all times to ensure safe and quality products are manufactured
  • Conduct internal and GMP audits to ensure quality and food safety management system are effective
  • Perform rounds within the manufacturing area to ensure that processes and product manufacture is in accordance with the documented HACCP plans and process control procedures and monitor general factory housekeeping
  • Troubleshooting - assisting production with any product or process quality issues
  • Assess and analyse products identified as possible non-conformances and implement Non conforming Product procedure (NCP-001) as required.
  • Verification of CCPs
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints
  • Review and sign off of daily in-process check paperwork
  • Oversee non-conformance and corrective / preventative action processes
  • Raise and issue Corrective Action Requests and Preventive Action Requests as required
  • Assist with the collection of retention samples. Oversee the maintenance of the retained product
  • Participate in third party audits
  • Provide technical assistance to other areas of the business as required
  • Continual Improvement - suggest and implement safety, product and process improvements

 

About you:

  • Preferred 2-4 years’ experience in similar role for multisite fast paced FMCG environment,
  • Strong customer service focus with quality focus and good documentation skills
  • Strong Communicator with excellent listening and phone skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and as a team player
  • Approachable and enthusiastic
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Intermediate  MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel)
