About the role:

We have a great opportunity for someone to join the Accounts Receivables team based in Wacol. This role is part of the Treasury team in JBS Corporate Office, reporting to the Credit Manager. Daily tasks will cover collections, claims handling and other A/R functions. This suits someone who is a motivated allrounder and enjoys working in a high volume and fast-moving environment. We are looking for an A/R Officer who is proactive, self-sufficient and a confident communicator.

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Managing customer accounts in accordance with company credit terms and policies.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure all invoice queries are resolved and paid.
  • Account Reconciliations.
  • Validation and resolution of claims in accordance to policy.
  • Prepare statements and monitor customer accounts for overdue invoices and deductions.
  • Preparing and maintaining reports as and when required.
  • Ad Hoc duties as requested.

 

About you:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in A/R or similar role.
  • Customer focused attitude.
  • Degree qualified in a, finance, accounting, or equivalent discipline would be advantageous
  • Experience in SAP desirable.
  • Intermediate to advanced level of computer literacy, especially in excel.
  • Motivated, analytical thinker, keen to contribute and refine current processes.
  • Keen eye for detail, especially when working to strict timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Loves to work as part of a team and achieve shared goals.
