Operations Finance Business Partner
About the Role
As an Operations Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in managing and optimising financial performance across QLD operations. Working closely with key operations teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Projects, you’ll provide financial insight, strategic guidance, and decision support that drives business performance.
In this role, you’ll lead the preparation, analysis, and delivery of financial data and reports for key stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable recommendations. You’ll be accountable for achieving cost targets, supporting operational goals, and driving initiatives that improve efficiency and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise financial performance across Operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Provide clear financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Maintain accurate costing processes and ensure compliance with company policies and governance standards.
- Partner with operational teams and P&C on labour analysis, EBA support, and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and automation, including ERP implementation and dashboard development.
- Support audits and statutory reporting requirements to ensure transparency and accountability.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CA qualified
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or business partnering role, ideally in operations or manufacturing
- Strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis expertise
- Skilled in ERP systems (SAP or similar), BI tools, and advanced Excel
- Collaborative and influential, with experience partnering with operational teams (ideally within a manufacturing environment)
- Strategic thinker who can provide recommendations and drive change
- Comfortable explaining complex financial concepts in a way that’s clear and actionable.
