Mechanical Fitter - Rotating Day/Afternoon Shift

Are you looking to develop your skills and career with a leading Brand? We’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team at our Production Street Snacking facility in Wacol, Brisbane.

The Role:

• Rotating roster (2 weeks of day, 2 weeks of afternoon)
• Monday to Friday
• Opportunities for overtime including weekends
• Starting rate is either $42.2100 or $49.4000 (depending on experience)
• The ability to increase your rate once you are more experienced at our site and with our equipment

About you:

• A positive and motivated attitude.
• Effective and efficient fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
• Certificate IV Fluid Power (Pneumatics) is highly desired.
• Experience with highly automated packaging equipment is preferred.
• Ability to MIG and TIG Weld Stainless steel is desired.
• Forklift Ticket is advantageous
• Good computer skills (Microsoft & SAP)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment (beneficial)
