About the Role

We have a new position available for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on night shift (10pm – 6am) into support the hygiene team and manage the equipment.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining/ensuring the performance of our hygiene equipment
  • Effectively and accurately document all work performed.         
  • Identify needed and/or consumed parts and materials, then research and order them as required.         
  • Work with other employees in a team atmosphere to meet deadlines.                
  • Repairing and servicing faulty equipment/structure if required.
  • Participating in continuous improvements and problem-solving initiatives
  • Ensure immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work

 

About you:

  • Proficient in Electrical and Mechanical trades
  • Experience in a fast-moving, high volume food manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of work planning and scheduling procedures
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective problem-solving capacity
  • Must be able to operate a computer using basic software applications such as email, Word, Excel, and CMMS (SAP).
