We are recruiting for Maintenance Electricians for afternoon shift to join the team at our Wacol facility in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. 

This position works Monday to Friday (2:30pm - 11pm) with regular opportunities for overtime which includes weekends.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime is achieved by completing effective and efficient Electrical preventative maintenance when production is not running on all packaging production lines.
  • Endorses excellent communication skills to manage day to day tasks, quality, safety issues and escalations to your supervisor.
  • Ensure that all electrical work meets all company safety and housekeeping requirements and conforms to all relevant regulations.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills to identify and troubleshoot faults to rectify problems.
  • Be a proactive team member who shows initiative to build on cultural change improvements to create a stress-free environment.

 

About you:

  • Current Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent.
  • Apply well-developed knowledge of the Electrical Safety Act, Regulations and Standards. 
  • Proficient with MS Outlook and ability to use maintenance management systems (E.g., SAP). 
  • PLC, Variable speed Drives and Pneumatics experience is advantageous. 
  • A disciplined ability to work safely and autonomously in a team environment.
  • Experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced modern manufacturing environment FMCG (highly regarded although not essential)
