Maintenance Electrician

The Opportunity

Primo are looking for skilled Maintenance Electricians to join our onsite teams in Chullora (Sydney) or Wacol (Brisbane). You will be hands-on in a wide range of electrical maintenance activities and benefit from strong learning opportunities through our dedicated trade training centre.

We are offering a genuine opportunity for work/life balance with your choice of day or afternoon shift. You will be part of a collaborative team that ensures the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our food production facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative electrical maintenance to maximise equipment uptime
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, control, power distribution and automation systems
• Respond promptly to electrical faults, alarms and breakdowns to minimise production disruption
• Maintain and optimise PLCs, control systems and electrical infrastructure for consistent operation
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, regulations, and company procedures
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults, participating in root cause analysis and recommending long-term reliability improvements

What You'll Bring

• New Zealand EWRB Registered Electrician licence
• Willingness to relocate to Chullora (Sydney) or Wacol (Brisbane)
• Strong technical expertise with industrial experience preferred
• Motivation, proactiveness, willingness to learn and safety-consciousness
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently across all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and hands-on environment
