HR Business Partner

About the Role

Our Northern Ops People and Culture Team is currently recruiting an experienced HR professional to join our Hemmant Cold Stores team as a HR Business Partner. Reporting directly to the General Manager P&C Northern, with a dotted line to the Hemmant Cold Store Operations Manager, you will be a trusted partner to the Cold Stores leadership team, partnering closely with operational leaders to deliver people strategies that support business performance, building workforce capability and employee engagement. Working within a dynamic operational environment, this role provides proactive, commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle balancing both strategic people initiatives and with hands-on operation requirements.   

About You

• Tertiary or Diploma qualifications in HR or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, Human Resources Advisor or equivalent role
• Proven experience supporting operational leaders within manufacturing, processing, logistics or industrial environments
• Experience operating as a standalone or site-base HR professional highly regarded
• Strong ability to build credibility and establish trusted relationships with operational leaders and frontline employees
• Demonstrated capability to influence decision-making and challenge constructively where required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
