About the Role

Primo Foods have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor – Operations to join the team in Wacol, Brisbane. This position is responsible for providing support in the range of human resource functions which include recruitment, administration, performance monitoring and management, employee counselling, HR reporting and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements as they apply to HR.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Support managers with an understanding of the impact from HR requirements
  • Provide HR advice to managers to ensure that HR strategies and tactics align business objectives
  • Attract and maintain the highest calibre of talent by driving rigorous recruitment and selection processes and well-targeted training and development programs
  • Develop and keep updated job requirements and/or job descriptions for all positions as appropriate
  • Coordinate the reward and recognition program for Primo Foods
  • Support the HR annual programs including KPI Setting, Performance Management, Compensation Planning, Talent Management and Succession Planning
  • Provide support for coaching to assist managers with decision making across team as required
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records
  • Ensure HR information systems, manual and electronic, are created and maintained as the primary source of employee information
  • Support GM HR and other HR Managers to provide an integrated support network for the HR function and completing assigned “Group” tasks

 

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ideally Tertiary Qualified in Human Resources Management or similar
  • Strong communicator with excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
  • Approachable and enthusiastic
