Freezer and Docks Supervisor
Primo Foods is seeking a Freezer & Dock Supervisor to join our Operations team in Wacol, QLD for a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role is responsible for coordinating warehouse operations, resources, equipment and workforce activities across the Freezer & Docks function to ensure the efficient storage, picking, packing and movement of goods. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you will support safety, quality, service and productivity outcomes while driving day-to-day operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate warehouse activities including receival, picking, dispatch, inventory movements, and vehicle turnaround in line with operational priorities
- Promote and maintain a safe workplace by identifying, addressing and escalating safety risks and ensuring compliance with safety procedures
- Support DIFOT performance through effective workflow coordination and operational planning
- Ensure RF transactions, inventory records, pallet documentation, and system activities are completed accurately and on time
- Monitor operations to ensure compliance with company policies, HACCP requirements, DAWR regulations, Safe Food standards, and quality management systems
- Coordinate the efficient processing of transit vehicles to optimise throughput and minimise delays
- Facilitate Toolbox Talks, team briefings, and operational training activities to support capability development and safety awareness
- Monitor workforce resourcing, attendance trends, leave planning, workload distribution, and overtime utilisation
- Investigate and coordinate the resolution of inventory discrepancies, credit claims, and Warehouse Management System (WMS) data integrity issues
- Prepare operational reports, maintain accurate documentation, and support internal and external audits
What You'll Bring
- Experience in a similar supervisory role within a complex, multi-site environment
- Sound knowledge of transport and distribution, logistics, warehouse operations, and storage management
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems, DC systems, RF technology and Microsoft Office applications
- Well-developed problem-solving, operational coordination, planning, and process improvement capabilities
- Forklift licence required; relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field are preferred
