Financial Reporting Manager

About the Role

Join JBS Australia’s DR Johnston Group as a Financial Reporting Manager and play a key role in managing financial operations, enhancing SOX compliance and financial governance within our broader Trading Group that covers both domestic and export businesses. This position is central to our Finance and Management team, with a focus on strategic partnerships, ERP system and financial process efficiencies that support commercial business decision making.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with both site-based and remote teams to maintain consistent and accurate financial reporting and performance.
• Support the Group Financial Controller and Treasury Manager with company governance, risk, and compliance objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive financial and internal control reviews across business operations.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and all SOX regulatory requirements.
• Manage month-end close activities, group forecasting, budgeting and monthly financial corporate meetings.
• Contribute to corporate reporting, performance analysis, and provide ad hoc financial insights.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across Finance, Business Analytics and systems management.

What You’ll Bring

• 5–10 years’ experience in financial reporting management and auditing roles.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge ideally within Agriproducts industry with advanced ERP systems knowledge and Excel skills.
• Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Outstanding organisational and time‑management skills.
• CPA/MBA qualification and membership(s) preferred.
