We are currently seeking a Financial & Business Performance Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working with data, solving problems and leveraging technology to deliver meaningful business insights.

Reporting to the Corporate Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance reporting across the business. You'll also have the opportunity to work with modern reporting tools, automation solutions and AI-enabled technologies to help improve reporting efficiency and decision-making.

About the Role

As Financial & Business Performance Analyst, you will provide analytical, reporting and business performance support to the Corporate Finance team while partnering with stakeholders across JBS Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with weekly, monthly and quarterly management reporting processes
• Preparing reporting packs, performance summaries and presentation materials
• Validating data from multiple sources and performing reasonableness checks to ensure accuracy
• Maintaining reporting templates, working files and supporting analysis
• Supporting business performance analysis and management decision-making
• Developing dashboards, reports and analytical tools for finance and business stakeholders
• Supporting ad hoc analysis requests across Corporate Finance and operational business units
• Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Supporting financial modelling, scenario analysis and forecast consolidation
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, automation and analytical capabilities
• Undertaking additional duties consistent with the scope and level of the role

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Approximately 1-3 years' experience in an analyst, finance, commercial, reporting, business intelligence or data-focused role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including working with large and complex datasets
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• A genuine interest in finance transformation, reporting automation and business performance analytics
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong ownership and accountability
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Desirable Experience

While not essential, experience in the following areas will be highly regarded:

• Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau or similar reporting and visualisation platforms
• SQL, Python, Power Query, VBA or other analytical and automation tools
• SAP, SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems
• AI-enabled productivity, reporting and analytics tools, including Microsoft Copilot or similar technologies
