About the Role

Join JBS Australia’s Swift Trade Group as a Financial Accountant and play a key role in enhancing SOX compliance and financial governance. This position is central to our Finance team, with a focus on risk mitigation, high-quality reporting, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with both site-based and remote teams to maintain consistent audit practices and process alignment.
• Support the Group Financial Controller and Manager in developing the annual internal audit plan.
• Conduct comprehensive internal control reviews across business operations.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and all SOX regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute audit assignments, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality results.
• Assist with month-end close, including journals and account reconciliations.
• Contribute to corporate reporting, performance analysis, and provide ad hoc financial insights.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across Finance.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years’ experience in risk management, internal audit, or internal controls.
• SOX experience is essential. A background with a Big 4 firm is highly advantageous.
• Strong collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Outstanding organisational and time‑management skills.
• CA qualification and membership preferred.
