Chiller Supervisor PM

About the Role

Primo Foods have an opening for a Chiller Supervisor for the PM shift. This role facilitates the daily picking of customer orders in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

Your responsibilities will include:

• To ensure that the tasks get completed in a safe environment and any problems are corrected as they arise
• To communicate with the pick controller and transport to ensure that we deliver maximum supply levels and are able to get orders picked to meet timeslots
• Ensuring all orders are picked in priority, notifying pick controller at the completion of urgent orders and allocating staff as required
• Ensuring all RF functions are actioned as required by turret drivers
• Investigate all stock errors, report discrepancies and organise for damaged cartons to be re-boxed and scanned
• Maintaining a high level of housekeeping within all areas
• To ensure the pick floor operates in conjunction with the other areas of the D.C.
• Ensuring all staff are operating in a safe manner and wearing protective clothing

About you:

• Proficient in delivering high quality customer service, providing clients with options and solutions
• Good materials handling, distribution of goods, delivery performance and production management abilities
• Basic procurement, supply chain and inventory management skills
• General knowledge of demand management and forecasting
• Highly flexible to new ideas and changes
• Profiicent use of DC systems and MS Office Suite 
• Sound knowledge of compliances, regulations, processes and quality controls including, order release, HACCP, DAWR & Safefood
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude and a calming nature
• Attention to detail, accuracy and quality focus
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
