Business Analyst

About the Role:
Join JBS Australia’s D.R. Johnston team as a Business Analyst, where you will be instrumental in improving the business processes, system enhancements and business operational analysis. This position is critical to ensuring successful technological transformation, finance team services consolidation between related business units and driving continuous improvement across national sites’ operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement dashboards to automate processes, increase financial control and monitor business performance to assist with strategic decision making.
• Work with the management accountants and Regulatory review of the financial business performance to provide financial insights and commercial recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Assist with benchmarking projects through financial analysis and providing insights for our network, market analysis, pricing and SWOT analysis of competitors and customers.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with Business Unit Stakeholders and Finance streams.
• Business partnering with sales and operations, facilitating continuous improvement in the understanding and communication of results.
• Working closely with the Business to drive and monitor the standardisation of Business Unit Accounting, reporting, financial systems, and processes.
• Pro-actively driving continuous improvement of accounting processes and related finance systems.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Hands-on experience with data modelling, architecture, reporting and analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Data Analytics or related field.
• Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel (advanced) and various data visualisation programs (QlickSense, Power BI).
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to support remote teams.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, business intelligence or reporting roles, preferably 3 – 5 years.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
• SAP experience is highly desirable.
