We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated leader to take on the role of Animal Welfare Advisor, a unique opportunity to influence animal welfare outcomes across all JBS Australia and New Zealand business units.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate & Regulatory Affairs, this highly visible group role will see you working across operations, livestock, customers, regulators, industry bodies, and global stakeholders to shape and continuously improve animal welfare practices across JBS.

About the Opportunity

As Animal Welfare Advisor, you will develop and drive JBS Australia's animal welfare strategy while supporting business units across Australia and New Zealand to achieve industry-leading welfare outcomes.

You'll work across a diverse range of protein production systems, helping ensure our standards continue to meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice.

• Partner with leaders and teams across multiple business units
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, regulators, and industry stakeholders
• Represent JBS at industry, government, and global animal welfare forums

• Develop deep expertise in a critical area of our sustainability and corporate responsibility agenda

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement JBS Australia's Animal Welfare Strategy.
• Partner with business units to support animal welfare outcomes and compliance.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support best practice.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and industry groups.
• Communicate and promote animal welfare standards across the business.
• Represent JBS at industry forums and global animal welfare committees.
