As a Plant Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in:

• Deliver timely and accurate weekly financial forecasts and monthly reporting for plant operations;
• Provide strategic financial support to plant leadership, enabling cost control and operational efficiency;
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in accounting systems, processes, and reporting;
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, manage, and review plant budgets and forecasts;
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and group policies; and
• Mentor and support the Finance Officer.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

• CA or CPA qualification (preferred but not essential);
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential);
• Experience with financial and management reporting systems - working knowledge of SAP and EPM systems highly regarded;
• Sound business understanding and financial management expertise;
• Highly organised with strong time management skills, capable of prioritising and managing multiple tasks effectively;
• Exceptional attention to detail; and
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
