As a Maintenance Boiler Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining boiler and utility systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Conducting routine inspections and checks of boilers, steam systems, water and associated equipment.
- Ensuring all boiler operations and maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults, defects, and safety concerns in a timely manner.
- Supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and availability.
- Maintaining accurate operational records, logs, and documentation.
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, housekeeping standards (5S), and equipment optimisation programs.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:
- Previous experience operating and monitoring industrial boiler systems.
- A current Boiler Attendant ticket or relevant boiler operation qualifications.
- Strong understanding of boiler safety procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience identifying basic equipment faults and issues.
- Availability to work across different shifts as required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to safety, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
