As an Inventory Manager, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Overseeing and coordinating maintenance and production inventory management. Including  material management, stock control & stocktakes (cycle count)
  • Exporting and interpreting reports for month end.
  • Managing internal & external stakeholder relationships and setup.
  • Forecasting consumable requirements in line with production and budgetary requirements.
  • Management of the vendor invoice management system to ensure invoices are paid accordingly.
  • Lead, coach & mentor inventory team members to enhance performance
  • Process improvement involving setting inventory targets optimising stock levels & support business goals
  • Supply chain coordination – ensuring timely fulfilment of orders
  • Complying with SOX requirements.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

  • Highly developed analytical, reporting and data manipulation skills.
  • Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of inventory management software. SAP experience is essential.
  • The ability to work professionally and effectively within a team environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • The ability to multi-task.
  • Leadership skills
