As an Injury Management Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Lead rehabilitation and case management activities for injured/ill team members.
- Administration of all worker’s compensation claims, ensuring timely and compliant processing.
- Liaise with HR teams, Plant Management, and the National Injury, Health and Welling team to implement national injury management procedures.
- Drive operational excellence across Return to Work (RTW) and rehabilitation programs, early intervention strategies, injury and claims management, and Solv/Beakon reporting.
- Provide accurate financial exposure data to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with SA workers compensation legislation.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.
- Champion the JBS ‘We Care’ program to promote best-practice injury management.
- Maintain documentation and support risk reduction initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:
- 2 years’ experience in workers compensation claims management is highly desirable.
- Qualifications in Business, Risk Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and related medical/legal terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Professional and customer-focused approach in challenging situations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Energetic, passionate, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and support others.
