As an Injury Management Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in:

• Lead rehabilitation and case management activities for injured/ill team members.
• Administration of all worker’s compensation claims, ensuring timely and compliant processing.
• Liaise with HR teams, Plant Management, and the National Injury, Health and Welling team to implement national injury management procedures.
• Drive operational excellence across Return to Work (RTW) and rehabilitation programs, early intervention strategies, injury and claims management, and Solv/Beakon reporting.
• Provide accurate financial exposure data to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with SA workers compensation legislation.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party providers.
• Champion the JBS ‘We Care’ program to promote best-practice injury management.
• Maintain documentation and support risk reduction initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong drive for operational excellence. You should have:

• 2 years’ experience in workers compensation claims management is highly desirable.
• Qualifications in Business, Risk Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of workers compensation legislation and related medical/legal terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Professional and customer-focused approach in challenging situations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Energetic, passionate, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and support others.
