About the Role:

Primo Foods has a great opportunity for a full-time Area Manager – Foodservice to work in our Adelaide team.  The role of the Area Manger – Foodservice is to drive profitable volume and product range within existing customer base and pursue new business opportunities in new and existing markets (end users). This role is also the primary contact point for existing customers and outlets. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the promotion of the Company’s products and professional image
  • Selling the whole product portfolio
  • Service existing customers via planned territory call frequency.
  • Achieve new business targets across all channels.
  • Execute the agreed Planned Call in every outlet/customer
  • Communicate with and provide information to Sales, Marketing, R&D, supply chain and National Contact Centre.
  • Action all complaints within 48 hours
  • Reduction of pricing Claims by 50% 

 

About you:

  • Proficient in delivering high quality customer & client service, providing customers with options and solutions
  • Ability to forecast future trends, evaluating market information and understanding demand management
  • Proficient Financial / Analytical abilities – maintaining data, strong understanding of trade maths and pricing
  • Demonstrated ability to sell, negotiate and influence other stakeholders to drive/encourage performance improvements
  • Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results
  • Ability to manage change and supporting activities in a change project. Includes engaging stakeholders in the change process
  • Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools
  • Effective verbal communication- ability to speak, present clearly and succinctly with excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Strong relationship management skills - ability to develop and enhance deep trade relationships to ensure Primo is considered to be the most preferred supplier in the market
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
  • Results focus with good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and quality focus
  • Must be highly organised, with the ability to plan and prioritise to efficiently manage own time
  • Ability to effectively lead, manage and empower the teams with the emphasis on coaching/mentoring - developing high performing teams and instilling a culture of excellence
  • Good conflict resolution skills with the ability to respond to a range of challenging behaviours in ways that de-escalate conflict
