The Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme enables eligible Australian businesses like JBS to hire workers from nine Pacific island nations and Timor-Leste when local labour isn’t available. It offers:

  • Short-term roles (up to 9 months)
  • Longer-term roles (1 to 4 years)
  • Opportunities in unskilled, low-skilled, and semi-skilled positions
