BR Foreperson

About the Role:

We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a fabrication Room Foreperson to join our team at the JBS Scone Plant. Located just two hours northwest of Newcastle in the Beautiful Upper Hunter, you can’t go wrong.

As a Fabrication Room Foreperson, You'll play a key role in supporting and coordinating the team to meet production goals while maintaining high standards in food safety, quality assurance and workplace health and safety. You'll work closely with the Room Supervisor to manage daily operations and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and in line with company standards. 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Knowledge of Operational tasks and skilled labour functions
• Assist room supervisor with day-to-day operations and take direction
• Strong work ethic, with the capability to multitask and prioritise
• Display an understanding and be able to enforce the requirements for each of the SOP’s that are relevant to this department e.g. EU, Halal, SA, FRL, BSE etc.
• Maintain a positive relationship with employee’s
• Collaborate with QA Officer to upholad food safety excellence
• Support training and development of team members
• Drvie performace to meet and exceed production targets

About you:

• Good organisational and leadership Skills
• Demonstrated commitment to meeting all requirements in relation to food safety, people safety and maintenance and enhancement of brand integrity.
• Sound technical knowledge of meat processing
• Must be energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with a demonstrated focus on system improvement
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and practical problem-solving skills
