About the Role

To support the rollout of a national ERP solution, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to join the JBS Group IT Team, based at our JBS Port Melbourne site.


The Senior BA will be responsible for managing the more complex problem types and will draw together information from a variety of sources to ensure that user needs are met in the most effective way. The role is expected to work without supervision, producing work that requires little or no rework. It is expected that the incumbent will have previous experience with Master Data and Manufacturing. The Senior BA may also be expected to manage enhancements (and minor projects) through to completion.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Gathering, validating and documenting requirements
  • Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Analysing data to inform decision making
  • Identifying issues, risks and benefits of solutions and outlining business impacts
  • Creating functional specifications
  • Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by stakeholders
  • Supporting business transition and helping to establish change


About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior BA role
  • Previous experience delivering under an Agile Methodology
  • Previous experience with ERP replacement programs or transformational programs
  • Previous experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work with and provide support to our onsite manufacturing teams, e.g. Brooklyn
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working with both IT and key business stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to deadlines
