Cold Store Forklift and Reach Drivers

JBS Australia’s Southern Division, headquartered in Melbourne, has the largest multi-species processing facility in Australia, processing beef, sheep, and goats. JBS Southern processing facilities have access to all major international markets, providing our livestock suppliers with a range of markets and brand opportunities.

JBS Brooklyn are seeking applications from experienced Forklift and Reach Drivers to fill various positions in our Cold Store Facility. These positions play a key role in the delivery of number of our award-winning brands.  Several of our opportunities are entry level with career progression available for those that want to develop!

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Operating forklifts, Reach and EPJs
• picking orders, stock rotation and stocktake
• Manifesting and labelling
• General hand duties
• Checking and recording of stock levels

About you:

You will:

• Be physically able to undertake manual labour and repetitive lifting where required
• Experienced in Forklift and Reach driving and hold a valid license
• Able to work in a cold environment
• Possess a good work ethic: be reliable, committed with a positive attitude
• Have reliable transport and license
• Have been Q fever vaccinated or willing to have Q fever vaccination
