Process Improvement Facilitator

About the Role:

This is a recently created role and an exciting opportunity to join our business as a Process Improvement Facilitator within our Riverina plant working on our PDCA Program.


The primary responsibilities will include engagement at all levels of management, development and deployment of PDCA tools and facilitating the implementation of the PDCA program in the Riverina business.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Identify and support the business to close operational gaps to benchmark performance
  • Drive the continuous improvement PDCA mindset within the business
  • Development and implementation of regular metric reporting and analysis
  • Support and guide others in continuous improvement tools
  • Ensure lessons learnt are captured, analysed and improvements are implemented
  • Assist with project work and other ad hoc requirements.


About you:

  • Strong proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience in tools for lean manufacturing such as PDCA or Six Sigma an advantage but not essential
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Computer skills including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and database skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and analyse systems and business process in order to identify improvement opportunities
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or meat industry would be advantageous
